The engraver Michał Kluczewski worked in Warsaw between 1869 and 1887, and produced more than 160 illustrations for the magazines Kłosy, Tygodnik Illustrowany, Tygodnik Powszechny and Biesiada Literacka, introducing the public to the sights and monuments of various places around Poland and Lithuania.
