In the 1970s and 1980s, Vizgirda created a number of works in pastels, and revealed his talent for improvisation. The pictures have an unexpected beauty, a clear rhythmic and skilful draughtsmanship, and match his favourite green and blue, while leaving the colouring the same. This view of a port, drawn in pastels on rough cardboard, occupies an important place in his oeuvre
