The emotional elation and tension caused by the combination of colours based on principles of contrast speak about feelings of stability, strength, and an attachment to the earth. The varied brown colouring is associated with Classical traditions, while the style of painting and the expressive revelation and stylisation of the shapes are very modern. The conservative view and its interpretation show that Tuleikis developed a long way after his Ars period.
