This picture may be attributed to the artistically strongest landscapes of Z. Petravičius. Here the painter abandoned the
traditional rosy colouring. The picture is painted in fine dynamic strokes, alternately covering the plains with warm and cold colours, as is typical for impressionism. This produces the feeling of motion and the breathing of the atmosphere. Human figures, as always in Z. Petravičius’ pictures, add vitality and optimism.
