This small (in size) and colourful Landscape was painted by L. Kosmulski when he studied at Vilnius University. The painter chose a panoramic view characteristic to Vilnius-style classicism, which he rendered in a broad-brush and ornamental manner. The bluish and sunlit distant mountains in the background, and the trees sparkling with autumn colours in the foreground, create a happy and serene mood.
