The Four of Spades from the deck of 52 playing cards issued by Johann Hoffmann (1629–1698) was drawn by artists Franz Nigrinus and Johann Seyfrid and engraved by Wilhelm Pfann. J. Hoffmann issued two decks of cards with the maps of the World and of Europe. The only known copy of this extremely rare publication with the explanatory text is held by the Saxon State and University Library in Dresden.
