This cycle was painted after Daniliauskas visited India, which made a great impression on him. The multitudes of people, as in pictures by Pieter Breugel, the sight of the immense world, and the relationship between red and green, recalling Lithuania, surprised him, and manifest themselves in the picture like a momentous fictitious image, in which various scenarios of people’s lives occur, even in trees. The picture evokes parallels with the multitude of people in the cities of India, and their preserved links with nature.
