Vytautas Ignas (1924–2009) sketched this cartoon early in his career, when he was living in Cleveland between 1952 and 1962 as a new arrival in the USA, enduring hardship, but continuing to paint and design stained glass. The cartoon depicts the arrest of Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane, when Judas Iscariot, one of His disciples, identified Him for the Roman soldiers by embracing and kissing Him. Only the two most important characters in the scene make up the composition, highlighting the confrontation between Jesus and Judas. Ignas produced another version of this scene in 1956.
