Winter in Žaliakalnis

In the collection there are three winter landscapes by L. Kazokas from 1940–1943. Winter in Žaliakalnis is distinguished by its firm fragmental composition. There is nothing accidental in it: the deliberate, subtle and artistic matching of the decorative red and yellow patches with the areas of cold snow and grey sky make the motif uniquely simple, charming and cosy.
