This data privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as Privacy Policy) applies to all personal data that you submit to us or that we collect and process as you use the services provided by Lithuanian Art Centre TARTLE (hereinafter, TARTLE). Public entity Lithuanian Art Foundation (the founder of TARTLE) is the controller of all your personal data collected as provided for in this Privacy Policy.
TARTLE respects your privacy and protects the personal data that you submit to us and that we collect as stipulated in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy explains why we collect your personal data and how we use them.
Admission to TARTLE exhibitions and excursions as well as events organised by TARTLE
To gain admission to TARTLE exhibitions and guided tours as well as events organised by TARTLE, visitors can be asked to produce an ID document. Visitors can also be registered in the TARTLE system indicating their first name, surname and the date and time of their visit. If you do not provide these data, you will not be able to gain entry to TARTLE exhibitions and excursions as well as events organised by TARTLE.
We will process your personal data for the purposes of protecting TARTLE premises, artistic assets, collection’s exhibits and other property.
Personal data provided by you will be stored for 1 year following your visit at TARTLE exhibitions and guided tours as well as events organised by TARTLE.
Events and excursions. Rent
When you register for events or guided tours and when TARTLE organises events or rents TARTLE premises out for events, TARTLE may ask visitors (or lessees) to provide their first names, surnames, e-mail addresses, addresses and phone numbers.
We will process your personal data for the purposes of TARTLE administration, statistics, security, feedback, assistance to visitors as well as protection of TARTLE artistic assets, collection’s exhibits and other property. In case of events and excursions, your data will be processed on the basis of a consent, whereas in case of rent of TARTLE premises, on the basis of a lease agreement (in order to conclude and fulfil the agreement).
In case of the lease agreement, your data will be stored for 10 years following the expiry of the agreement, while in case of events and guided tours, for 1 year.
Sale of tickets
You can purchase tickets to TARTLE exhibitions and excursions as well as events organised by TARTLE at a TARTLE box office and on the website www.tartle.lt.
If you buy tickets on the website, TARTLE will collect the following personal data: your first name, surname, e-mail address, phone number and country.
The data you provide will only be used so that we are able to perform the order. Without your permission, these data will not be used for any other purposes and will not be transferred or sold to any third parties unrelated to the provision of our direct services. TARTLE will not store buyers’ data of log-in to payment systems. You enter the log-in data into e-banking systems or the payment system Paysera on the websites of banks or Paysera; therefore, this information will be inaccessible to TARTLE.
Buyer’s personal data (i.e., first name, surname, phone number and e-mail address) is stored for 1 year as from the last day of a purchase-sale transaction. Following the expiry of the storage term of the active database, personal data will be automatically destroyed.
Video surveillance
Video surveillance in TARTLE premises is performed to ensure security of TARTLE artistic assets, collection’s exhibits and other property as well as protection of life, health, property, other rights and freedoms of employees and other persons, when other means or methods are insufficient and/or inappropriate to achieve the said objectives.
Video surveillance is performed in all the territory of TARTLE (in spots of entry to the territory, in the territory around the building, at the entrances to the building, in the sculpture park located in the building’s courtyard and other territories according to the necessity) as well as in TARTLE premises (in exposition rooms, storage facilities, corridors, the cloakroom). Due to the nature of work at TARTLE, video surveillance is also performed at work places, in the premises and territories where TARTLE employees are working.
TARTLE ensures processing of video data only by those persons authorised by TARTLE which have been familiarised with legislation regulating legal protection of personal data and have taken on the obligation of observing it under signature. Before you access TARTLE premises wherein video surveillance is performed, information about video surveillance is clearly and properly provided.
Your personal data is stored for 90 days following the moment of making the video recording.
Filming and taking photos during events
During certain events or exhibitions, visitors may be filmed and/or photographed in TARTLE premises. In such cases visitors will be informed thereof during the event or exhibition by warning signs prior to their entry into TARTLE premises (for instance, by information notices posted on the TARTLE entrance door, etc.).
Public entity Lithuanian Art Foundation (the founder of TARTLE, address: Užupio g. 40, Vilnius LT-01203) is the controller of personal data (video recordings or photos) collected during events or exhibitions. The Foundation may transfer video recordings to third parties helping to organise the event, perform advertising and prepare presentation materials. Such parties may be developers and distributors of advertising materials, suppliers of database software, suppliers of services of database and website administration, suppliers of cloud computing services, etc.
Video recordings and/or photos made during an event as well as their excerpts may be made public and broadcast live on Tartle Facebook account, website and by other advertising or information dissemination means.
During events, photos and video recordings are made on the basis of our lawful interest to register events taking place at Tartle and use this material for the purposes of presentation, advertising and chronicle administration.
Photos and video recordings are stored for 5 years as from the moment they are made.
Personal data of candidates
Personal data of candidates (first name and surname, e-mail address, CV, motivational letter and position) who have sent us their CVs directly by e-mail or via job advertising websites are processed by us in order to be able to conduct selection of candidates to a job vacancy. We process these personal data of candidates on the basis of a consent. We store candidates’ personal data as long as selection process to a certain vacancy is ongoing. The data is stored for a longer period only in case we receive a candidate’s consent.
While performing selection for a job vacancy, we process only those personal data of candidates which are related to their qualifications as well as their professional abilities and qualities. We neither collect nor process candidates’ special personal data.
The data on the fact of the conducted job interview (a candidate’s first name, surname, the date of the job interview) are stored for 1 year as from a particular interview.
